Americans are satisfied with their health insurance

According to the American Customer Satisfaction Index, there was a 4.3 percent increase in positive consumer sentiment when it came to their health insurance providers. In fact, all major health insurance providers experienced some sort of uptick with their customers’ overall satisfaction.
That isn’t to say there aren’t hiccups for health coverage. News media outlets report dissatisfaction across the board, mainly because the open marketplace has yet to achieve the financial equilibrium it hoped to by now, which will cause premiums to nearly double for many come 2017.
However, those with pre-existing conditions, who were previously unable to obtain coverage before the passage of the Affordable Care Act, are benefiting greatly from having insurance--but at the cost of the “healthy” insured, which many don’t understand.
