Background: The insertion of available cervical retractor systems is relatively complex for the limited exposure required for single-level anterior cervical diskectomy.

Objective: To introduce a novel cervical retractor system and report the initial experience of its application.

As the credentialing coordinator, there are many times when the department is called upon to ensure a tech and reader are admitted to a hospital in order to assist a surgeon with a last-minute surgical case.
