Only at Axis

Axis does the legwork to prepare for denied insurance claims up front, prior to surgery. We know it is likely our patients will need this type of support, so we prepare on their behalf.

How We Operate

I have had a policy holder and the patient call us when their insurance denied her claim as not medically necessary. The husband said he wanted to help us fight the insurance before we even got the denial because the “surgeon had proclaimed that the neuromonitoring had caught someone kind of malfunction during the surgery and without it the patient could have easily lost some or all feeling in her hands.” The surgery was not a long surgery, it was just a difficult surgery, because of where the lesion on the spine was located.
