Professional Internship
The Axis Neuro Internship Program gives advanced-degree students an opportunity to gain professional exposure to neurophysiology, research, quality assurance, technical practice, and healthcare operations.
This is an unpaid internship and is separate from the ABRET-accredited Axis Neuro IONM Training Program.

No. The Axis Neuro Internship Program is an unpaid professional internship.
Interns must commit to at least two semesters. Applicants interested in a longer commitment may receive preference.
Eligible UT Dallas students may receive three to nine credits per semester with approval from their department head. Credit is not guaranteed.
Assignments may involve research, quality assurance, practice setups, measurements, data organization, signal analysis, programming exposure, and didactic learning.

No. The internship is a separate early-exposure program and is not a substitute for the formal IONM Training Program.
No. Some interns may later pursue trainee opportunities, but participation does not guarantee selection, employment, or admission to the training program.
